Ravenholm

Ravenholm is a great single player mod by Anthony Nichols and Lord Games. It’s a huge mod with 26 maps and all set in our favourite part of city 17, the infamous Ravenholm. The mod recreates the horror feel of Ravenholm and expands it with some very interesting new environments, and some devilish puzzles. The first few maps are quite easy to complete, as the mapper sets the scene, but don’t worry because it soon gets hectic, with loads of zombies and even Combine troops and attack choppers in the later stages.

We personally enjoy this mod the most out of all the maps and mods we have added so far. It is a big session to get through all these maps and after the last testing session where we had the difficulty up on 8, we were all on the verge of collapse from fatigue due to the intensity and challenge of the final maps with Elimination mode on.

This is one of the spooky outdoor areas around the outskirts of Ravenholm.

The later maps in this mod deliver some top class zombie action. The traps and level design are very much in keeping with the Ravenholm we know from HL2
