New level of admin security

How many times have you been on a server and wished you could change something? but there’s no admin around, so tough luck - you just have to make do! Well not any more! You see the problem has always been that you can’t just go giving out your admin password to anyone, as they could ruin your server. So, we have made a new level of security and configuration for Follow Freeman servers, which gives the server administrators the option to give out a password to trusted players and clan members, who can then use the game control console in the ReadyRoom to easily configure their game without having to hassle the admin, and without the risk of them killing the server.

This new and unique feature brings unprecedented configurability to online servers by their players, as and when it is needed. Many more members of the community will be able to set-up games in the way they wish for a session. This also saves server administrators time, money and bandwidth, as there is no need to run multiple semi-populated servers, each with different configurations. we have found this system so robust that many of the public servers running Follow Freeman have no admin password on them allowing any players to connect and configure the game the way they wish.
